Man, This Life Lasts Forever . . .

. . . Hence I need a break from it every now and then (wouldn't it be excellent if humans had to hibernate too?).Well, for the next couple of weeks, the living continues, but not the working. I am off with a couple of friends to Madhya Pradesh tonight. We are visiting the wildlife sanctuaries of Bandhavgarh and Kanha and giving the local flora and fauna a chance to see us up close and personal. People in the know tell us that this is good time for the trip — with spring blooms in the forest there are many birds and it is a time when the small and big cats put up an appearance. Hopefully, we will see a tiger or two, shake paws, pull their whiskers, play with their tails, and get along famously.

Then, if we survive the forest and no tiger looks upon us as fattened and easy meals, we round off the trip with a couple of days in Pachmarhi.

Both friends, mentioned above, claim to be carrying the kind of cameras that can capture images of an individual eyelash of a tiger at 100 meters. We will put the cameras to test and hopefully have some good pictures posted for you online.

As always, my plan for the trip is very simple: steer clear of any computers, soak in the experience, and eat lots of good food. Hopefully all three will happen and a good time will be had.

Therefore, no blogging for the next couple of weeks. Meanwhile, be good and explore the archives.

Stop being lazy and post the BKP details right away! You have overused that "i am extremely busy" excuse...and am not taking that anymore. You could have posted it last weekend itself. Hurry up.
