Wikipedia in Book Form

CNN reports that Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales has said that entries from Wikipedia may soon be available in print for readers in the developing world.

There are also plans to make the content from the website available on CDs and DVDs so that computer users without access to high-speed internet can consult the the online encyclopedia.

"I have always liked the idea of going to print because a big part of what we are about is to disseminate knowledge throughout the world and not just to people who have broadband," CNN quotes Wales as saying.
